Key Project Characteristics:
- Design/Build
- Energy Savings
- Performance improvement
- Minimal interference with building operations
Problem:
The aging HVAC direct expansion units were unreliable and costly to operate.
Solution:
Enginuity worked with the owner to convert the direct expansion system to a new chilled water plant with an air-cooled Smart chiller utilizing Turbocor oil-free magnetic bearing compressors. The project involved dismantling the existing system and installing the new components without disrupting office operations.
