Enginuity Makes Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies List for 4th Consecutive Year

Harrisburg, PA (September 17, 2009)  This morning, the Central Penn Business Journal announced and honored the top fifty businesses that have made significant contributions to the growth, strength and success of the Central PA region during the 13th annual Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies awards breakfast held at Hilton Harrisburg. Enginuity LLC is proud to announce its rank of number 38 on this years list.

"We are delighted to be in the company of so many terrific businesses for the fourth year consecutive year.  It is a real tribute to our associates", said Jim Mooney, CEO of Enginuity.

During the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies awards program, the ranking of the fifty winning companies was announced. Emcee for the event was David A. Schankweiler, chief executive officer and publisher of the Central Penn Business Journal. The breakfast and awards ceremony featured guest speaker Dan Schwab, co-president of D&H Distributing Co., a $2 billion locally-based distribution company.

In order to be eligible for nomination, companies were required to show revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending 2006, 2007 & 2008 and show revenue growth in 2008, as compared to 2006 (the same three-year period). Eligible companies had to be for-profit entities headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York county.

Presenting sponsor, SF & Company, calculated the nominations and then ranked the companies according to revenue growth over the three-year period. Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into consideration. This ranking formula led to the recognition of the 2009 Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies, consisting of both large and small companies.

In addition to the awards breakfast on September 17, the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies will be profiled in a special supplement to the September 25 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal, with a complete list of honorees published in ranked order, along with information on each companys financial growth.

Enginuity LLC One of Only 22 MSCA GreenStars in the Country

ROCKVILLE, MD  The Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) announced that Enginuity LLC has been awarded the MSCA GreenStar designation, which recognizes MSCA STAR qualified contractors who have met stringent guidelines for environmental responsibility throughout their companies. MSCA is the nations leading trade association for air conditioning, heating and refrigeration contractors with over 1,200 members across the United States and Canada.

MSCA GreenStar was created by MSCA to recognize mechanical service contractors who have developed the skills and expertise necessary to deliver energy-efficient, cost-effective indoor environmental solutions to their customers. MSCA has been recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for its leadership and stewardship of sustainable practices in the HVAC industry.

To qualify for MSCA GreenStar, a contractor must first qualify as an MSCA STAR contractor.  MSCA STAR is a qualification program recognizing contractors that meet or exceed rigorous operating and training standards set by MSCA. To achieve MSCA GreenStar status, an MSCA STAR contractor must meet the following criteria:

·         Employ at least one LEED® Accredited Professional

·         Be a member of the USGBC, either with a local chapter or the national organization

·         Verify that at least 25 percent of its total employees have participated in a green training or education program

·         Demonstrate that they promote environmental responsibility by offering specific sustainable services and recommending green procedures and equipment

·         Establish an internal commitment to green by attaining LEED certification, of any type, for their building, or by developing an internal green policy

·         Have participated as part of a project team with a LEED EB or LEED NC registered project within the past three years

GreenStar applications are reviewed and approved by a third-party independent company.

Central Penn Business Journal Honors Region's Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies

Entrepreneur and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Release 12th Annual Hot 100 Listing of Fastest-growing New Companies in the U.S.

Irvine, CA - Entrepreneur magazine has released the 12th Annual Hot 100 listing of the fastest-growing new companies in the United States. The listing is comprised from an initial list of fast-growing companies from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
